Recent progress in the theory semilinear equations involving degenerate elliptic differential operators

In this book we present recent progress done mainly by our group in the study of semilinear equations involving degenerate elliptiic differential operators. In Paragraph 1.2 we will recall in details the development of research related to problems discussed in the book. The readers can find the subjects of investigation of each chapter at the beginning of the chapter. In each chapter we always provide examples illustrating the main results obtained there. At the end of each chapter, in the notes, we discuss the advantages, disadvantages of the method used in the chapter and a perspective of further research.
